The Second Folkloric Palestinian Festival in the US is taking place  in Houston, March 31st- April 1st 2012. The   festival program includes many educational, cultural, folkloric, and entertainment events. The Jones Plaza in downtown Houston, an outside theater, will be a little Palestine for over 2 days.

The Festival will be preceded by PACC Anniversary Gala taking place March 17 at the Hilton Post Oak to honor the sponsors of The Festival. This year gala is dedicated to the Late Palestinian American Legend Edward Said. 

It was estimated that over 5500 people attended last year's festival in the course of the three day event. The Palestinian American and Arab community is excited to inaugurate such an event in the heart of Houston, the fourth largest city in the US.

The mission of the Houston Palestinian Festival is to share and educate the culture and heritage of the Palestinian people within the Houston community and the US and to provide a form of celebration and entertainment to the community at large. The Palestinian Festival is sponsored by the Palestinian American Cultural Center Houston.
